Order-ready notifications

How to opt in to a ready text

Order-ready texts are not yet available. We are preparing this optional service and will enable it only after sender approval and testing.

When the service is available, you can choose to receive one text when your order is ready at Xom Caphe, 82 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95113. This page explains the in-person process; it does not collect phone numbers or enroll you online.

At the counter

  1. Before your order is completed, a staff member offers the optional notification and reads the disclosure below. You can review the SMS terms and privacy policy using the links on this page.
  2. If you agree, provide your mobile number and confirm that you want one order-ready text for this order. Declining does not affect your purchase.
  3. The staff member records your order, number, affirmative consent, the disclosure used, when you agreed, and how you agreed in our Kitchen system. Existing receipt or ordering phone numbers are not treated as consent.
  4. When every item is ready, we send one notification. Duplicate scans or reopening the order do not trigger another text.

The disclosure you will hear

Would you like one text from Xom Caphe when this order is ready for pickup? This is optional and is not required to buy anything. Message and data rates may apply.
